IGLTA Foundation Scholarship Program

Shaping the future of LGBTQ+ tourism

The IGLTA Foundation LGBTQ+ Tourism Scholarship is an important initiative that provides financial assistance to LGBTQ+ students pursuing tourism studies. The scholarship helps to foster the next generation of professionals who are equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to analyze the challenges faced by the LGBTQ+ community in the tourism sector.

Tourism is an essential component of the global economy, and it is critical that the industry is inclusive and welcoming to everyone. Unfortunately, LGBTQ+ travelers often face discrimination and prejudice when traveling, which can impact their safety, well-being, and enjoyment of the destination.

The IGLTA Foundation LGBTQ+ Tourism Scholarship is an excellent opportunity for LGBTQ+ students who are passionate about promoting inclusivity and diversity in the tourism sector. By supporting the next generation of professionals, the scholarship helps to ensure that the tourism industry is welcoming to all travelers, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity. Providing these scholarships underscores the importance of promoting inclusivity in tourism and creating a more accepting world for everyone.
