IGLTA Member Benefits
IGLTA members represent all facets of the travel and tourism industry. Travel related organizations become part of IGLTA so that the world of gay and lesbian travel has a unified voice. In addition to this camaraderie, there are a variety of benefits an organization receives upon becoming a member of our association. Here is a listing of those benefits.
Every member of IGLTA has a listing on www.iglta.org. This listing gives your organization's name, contact information, business type and a brief description. IGLTA's website attracts businesses and consumers from around the world and when somebody searches for gay and lesbian friendly travel organizations, you will be included. There is also the ability to upload pictures to your listing. For a price of US$300 you can upload up to four pictures plus your organization's logo.
Being a part of an association provides you with immense educational and networking opportunities. By being a member you will have access to other organizations for idea sharing, collaboration and networking. IGLTA provides many events throughout the year that will enable you to meet people in the world of gay and lesbian travel as well as the tourism industry as a whole. IGLTA also has many educational resources. As an association, a goal is to help the business world understand how to cater to gay and lesbian consumers. We have partnerships with many organizations to help provide education to our members.
When you become a member of IGLTA, you position your organization as a leader in the tourism industry and the world of gay and lesbian travel. Displaying our logo tells consumers and competitors that you take an active role in catering to the gay and lesbian market and that will put your business ahead of others in the same industry and market. The more involved you become with IGLTA the more visible you will become as a player in this lucrative niche market and the gay and lesbian communities.

Attractive advertising opportunities in this indispensable desktop tool that brings IGLTA member businesses closer to each other. This is mailed to all current members each Spring.

We are looking for magazines in other parts of the world to provide these benefits to all members worldwide. IGLTA organizes two travel symposia and one convention each year. Members are offered reduced rates, airfares and inexpensive event costs when attending. These are the places to do business at trade shows, educational seminars and supplier one-on-ones, regional familiarization tours, panel discussions and countless networking opportunities. IGLTA sends you an e-mail update once a week on Wednesdays. Members can sponsor these blasts and provide an advertisement or a story about a product or service offered. The e-mail blasts go to our entire membership database that spans the globe. The cost to do this is US$300 for an advertisement or US$500 for a picture and a story. In addition to our membership database we have a consumer database of approximately 1500 consumers that also spans the globe. To send any sort of HTML e-mail blast to this group is US$500. All members have the ability to buy advertising space on the right hand of the consumer pages on www.iglta.org. As a member of IGLTA you will get access to a PDF version of our member database. Also, we are able to supply mailing labels for you to send out collateral. We will print our membership database on mailing labels and send the labels to your organization. The fee for this is US$500.
